As a junior writer I was responsible for writing up a collection of weekend guides, hotel round-ups and speaking with local experts in places as far flung as Sri Lanka and the Seychelles. I was also often tasked to write hotel recommendations for quirky places to stay in the UK and coming up with social media strategies to direct readers to the then newly relaunched website.
